I cant confirm it but i know I've heard about it too. A training accident between him and Makalele or something.

If thats the case, there forked. Cashley was the one member of their squad who always stepped up and was able to hold Ronaldo, without him, ooooh the possibilities

Love the song its too, only shows the incident once and thats right at the start, but looks bad. Have no idea why you would go in with one of those sorts of reckless tackles on a team mate only a matter of hours before the Champions League final...

I'm into coincidences in football and I'm convinced what the outcome will because of these:

Manchester United: Similarities between this season and last time they won the Champions League
(Some of these might be a stretch)

* Man Utd were unbeaten throughout the 1998/99 campaign and they are unbeaten so far this season
* In 1998/99, just like this season, they encountered Barcelona
* Won the League on the last day of the season, just like 1998/99. The League Championship stayed in Manchester in the 1967/68 the season and was also won on the final day.
* Spurs won the League Cup in 1998/99 by beating a team in blue, at Wembley.
* United have a 100% in European Cup Finals. 2/2 in the European Cup and 1/1 in Cup Winners' Cup
* 50 years since the Munich crash
* 40 years since United first won the trophy

Besides the above, lets face it, Avram Grant v Ferguson in a game like this, there's only one winner. Grant is in uncharted territory here, maybe he deserve a bit of credit on getting Chelsea there but he did have a lot of luck. The draw for the 1st Knock Out round and Quarter-Finals for instance, any of the big 4 would have fancied themselves them and of course the own goal by Riise. Avram doesn't seem like a winner, he's already lost 1 final and had opportunities to win the title but Chelsea shot themselves in the foot by conceding late equalisers.

So runners up in 3 competitions this season (Including tonight) at least their previous manager won them silver wear.

One way or another Manchester United will be European Champions tonight (this season)

^^^ .

Well done on that post mate, seems alot of effort went into it.

But to be honest with you I disagree with most of it - or more I disagree with some of things you've said about it being 'their time'

I don't think I remember saying 'their time'. I just believe some things are written in the stars, some things seems like they're meant to happen, almost like part of a huge mathematical equation. Then again your mind can play tricks on you and you see things that aren't there. On this occasion, there's too much that says United will win it, that's just what I believe. I've already put money on it, it's worked for me in the past. The only problem is it could end a draw after 90 mins.

2-0 score line been nagging at me for a couple of days now, then again just like dansmith's above post I initially felt Chelski would score first and lose, just like the League Cup final and previous Champions League defeat to Fenebahce.

United is probably the stronger team (PLAYING IN THE LEAGUE) but when it comes to cup competitions, it is completely different.

Good luck with your bet mate but it really is too hard to pick.

Your right, it is completley different.

But i wouldn't say that Sir Alex has a bad record for cups. Take the F.A cup for instance....Anyway im not going to say too much on it, dont want to jinx myself or anything .
