OK so it's the big one, the biggest of the lot and we are within touching distance of kick off.
As I plan my I-Pod and get ready for the very early flight to Moscow (and back all in 24hrs) I start to get nervous about the game and worry United might be too strong. Chelsea's first ever Champions League final, will they go for it and make it one to remember or will United complete the double and add the European cup to the cabinet yet again? All the match talk here please guys, I will be out there so I will get pics and videos if possible Opinions? Scoreline? Team news, all here!

Its going to be tight, i dont think either side will dominate the match. I do hope for something a little better than last years F.A Cup final though....
Will be interesting to see Fergie's team selection though. Im praying to god he has Anderson involved somewhere. We haven't seen him for a while now and am getting the feeling he's being rested up for the game. Also, hope that we dont start with Giggs. He is a united legend, and i will always love the fella, but he's not up to scratch at the moment. He WILL feature in the game at some point because it will be the cap that puts him > Sir Bobby, but please dont start him Fergie!! Will post things from my side of the fence when i hear/see them.

It's a really hard game to pick because you can't really know whether or not Drogba is going to turn up to play his last game or turn up to say thanks for nothing?
It's really hard to pick I think Chelsea have the older more expearinced team with Terry, Cole's etc no really young players in their team. Whilst united have Anderson, Nani and even Rooney and Ronaldo may go in being a bit nervous. I think Makelele will play and do well and stop Ronaldo whilst it's hard to know the team sheet of chelsea, United can probably be expected to do a -----------------VDS----------------- Brown----Vidic-------Ferdinand---Evra Ronaldo---scholes----Carrick------Nani ----------Rooney-----Tevez--------- Or something quite similar. Whilst Chelsea who will they play Cole or SWP? Malouda or Kalou? Anelka? Right back? Too many ? with Chelsea so therefore, United will win

That lineup would be the obvious, but wouldn't surprise me at all if we saw a 4-3-3, as Fergie favors them on European nights, unfortunately. Nani and Carrick are both definite ?'s, because we have Park (hugely under rated), Anderson, and Hargreaves all in the line as well.
As soon as the formation comes out, we will know if were going to play conservative, or attacking. Infact, thinking harder about it now. I would say it will be 4-3-3, Ronaldo pushed up front obviously, with Hargreaves playing defensive, scholes attacking, and probably park just doing a hell of a lot of running around as usual. Dont quote me on it though

Well I know both teams will be fighting for this win. United are a good side, but I have seen them falter in bigger games sometimes. Chelsea have also got a good side, and I think are pretty predictable.
End of the day I think Chelsea may get this. After all, Chelsea want revenge for the title race. 2-1 Chelsea, same scoreline as the last time, except I'm saying United to score first, Chelsea to equalise before half time, and a last 15 minute winner. Who knows. I'm probably completely wrong

Don't get started on how much of anti-climax that was. I really do hope for a fast attacking/counter-attacking game. Chelsea to win 2-1

There will be empty seats at the Champions League final in Moscow after both clubs failed to sell their allocations, according to a report in The Times.
Even Manchester United - with their claim to be the world's best supported club - still had tickets on general sale on Monday night as fans shunned the expensive trip to Moscow. The Times claims that phone calls to the United ticket office revealed that there were still £73 and £120 tickets available. Those are now likely to remain unsold as it is far too late to make travel arrangements. Chelsea claim to have sold their allocation but their official website reveals that there is still some 'limited availability' on two-night trips. There is also the distinct possibility that many people who have bought tickets will see their money go to waste as they find the cost of the trip prohibitive. The Times reports, 'On the Craigslist.org website's Manchester and London sections there were nearly 500 tickets for sale last night, many offered for face value. "Can't afford trip and need to sell," one seller wrote. 'Sean Bones, the vice-chairman of the Manchester United Supporters' Trust, said: "The Moscow trip is similar in price to next year's season tickets and people are having to make a choice between shelling out for one game or seeing every match next year." The embarrassment of the empty seats is set to put massive pressure on UEFA to keep Champions League finals in western Europe and the next two will be in Rome and then Madrid, with the 2011 final likely to be held at Wembley
