MANCHESTER UNITED manager Sir Alex Ferguson has asked striker Louis Saha to try to persuade £30m Lyon target Karim Benzema to join the Old Trafford club. Benzema is said to be quite impressed with the treatment table.

Would be a good signing but would Saha really try to persuade a player to join who is actually going to take his place and knock him down the pecking order?
