I used to play when I was very young. Until one off season where I broke my toe and couldn't go back for that start of the next season and then pretty much gave up.
I was a striker, think I had 1 goal in 2 games ratio .

But that doesn't count really .

I used to play in school, but I didn't turn up to practice when they picked the team (was off ill) so I missed out. I was always better at defending. H?opeless in goal but not a bad defender.

I played football in the last school I went to. I played up front and on the left wing as I am a left footer. I always had pace so they placed me on the wing, but I preferred playing upfront.

I played as either a left back, left winger or a striker.

I started off up front when I was young, playing for the best team in Sheffield for our age group for years, scored hundreds of goals up until I was 11, but then got asked to play at left back one game on a tour of Holland we had. After that it was my position for the season, and not long after I turned 12 I got a trial at Sheffield United after being recommended by Luis Silva (an ex-Chile international who played in a World Cup in the 60's), but United said I was good enough, just not tall enough to make it for the team. I got offered places at Blackpool and Sheffield Wednesday, but I said no to both as I couldn't get to Blackpool 3 times a week, and I just could NOT play for Wednesday.

I then continued at Handsworth, but got asked to play for Sheffield FC at 13, so I played for them instead. Played for them for a year, but a new manager started picking all the tall players so I never got a look in. I then moved into the B league in Sheffield with Emanuel. The manager, Steve Beresford, was the best coach I've ever worked with. He made me a better player and turned me into a left winger. We got promoted as champions and I scored 23 goals from left wing

He then left to coach at Rotherham United, and the same thing happened as Sheffield, with a manager who picked all the tall players, so I left once again.

I then played for Millhouses, who were a very poor team but it was football and that's all that mattered to me at 15, and I was there till I was 17. I got offered a contract at Alfreton Town but I just couldn't get there every week so I had to say no.

I played for a good pub team in Sheffield 3 times at 18, before injuring my knee severely, and since the operation in March 08, I haven't been able to play, and probably never will competetively again because it's not strong enough.

Well there you go, it's my life story on a Sunday morning. I'm bored

Ive played in every position. I started off as a central midfielder which was my fave as i love to get stuck in and set others up. That's actually my strongest postion. Then i went to Defence and played in all four postions when short. Also played a few games up front which was nice for a change! Then our Goalie left and no one would go in so me being Captain went in as no one else would! i finished my last 3 seasons in goal at first i never wanted to stay in but in the end i loved it! I played football since i was 7 but when i was 16 the team folded and being at that age i didnt want to go to a new team as they look at you as trying to take there places and i didnt want the bitchiness!

Now i just play for the College team where im a goalie ( again no one else would go in so i did)

I played for my school and broke my nose with 2 matches left this past season, for my school I played right back, defensive midfield, centre midfield and striker. I spent most of the season at CM and CF though.

I currently play for the East Hamilton Soccer Club U18 squad, where I play right wing (and occasionally left) although I'm right footed. We've played..7 matches and I've netted one goal.
