I'm just watching the Man City Uefa Cup game in the VIP area and I noticed the referee is a woman!

You might think I sound shocked, but to be honest I am. I have seen women running the lines before but never ref'ing a fairly big game like this (ok it's not a huge game but you know what I mean)

Do you think it's right? I would like to hear your opinion!

Personally I think if they are good enough then why not, although it is slightly funny lo

I agree if she is good enough then why not, buti cant seeing it happening too much in the future, maybe the less publicised games

If there good enough they deserve to be there no question, to be honest they can't be much worse than the male refs we have in Scotland at the min

I agree, if they can do it yes. Most of the male refs can't do their job.
