Default Sir Bobby Robson

It was revealed in the news today that the great legend, Sir Bobby Robson will lose his fifth battle against cancer, and was told by doctors that he only has months left to live.

I make this thread for us to wish the man all the best with the life he has left, and to keep fighting until the end, just like he has all these years.

To me Bobby Robson is a true legend,a man who has a place in the hearts of most, if not all north east football fans, whether they be black and white or red and white, or white and blue.

I hope all you guys in CFF will join me in wishing him well, and also to say,

Bobby Robson, you are truly a legend and will be missed by alot of football fans in the country, possibly even in the world, but most of all in the north east. You have done so much for the north east, not only in the football world, but for charity too. You will be missed by everyone and one thing is for certain, when your time comes, you certainly will not be forgotten, and I hope when the time comes, that fans fo both Sunderland and Newcastle will come together to say goodbye to such a big legend in the north of England

Good luck Sir Bobby, Keep fighting until the end!!

Great post Libbi, I read it in the Sun today and to be honest I felt gutted that such a true gent has suffered so much with such a horrible disease. He is a true fighter and a top guy who never moans keeps smiling and gets on with his life, to have it five times is shocking and really upsetting

I don't really need to go into his footballing life as he has done pretty much everything and as you say it doesn't matter what team you support because everyone loves him, thats when you really know that you have done well.

All the best though Bobby, your a top guy and I really wish you all the best
