Im glad Rio didn't get it, would mean he would have to be starting almost every game for England and id rather him be rested when needed.

Terry is a great leader. All you need to do for evidence of that is look at the champions league final last season, oh oh.

Slightly suprised by this, thought Rio was well ahead of Terry in the list. Rio lead man utd to the double last year so i thought he would have been the easy choice

I had a feeling that Rio might of got it also BUT I would never have picked anyway other than Mr JT. True hero, true fighter, top defender and a true leader.

I think Gerrard is the best captain, Terry is a better leader than Ferdinand though IMO

I think Terry was the right choice, has lots of experience as a captain and as a defender. Excellent leader.
