Grimsby Town have given former Barnet midfielder Nicky Nicolau the chance to earn a contract.

I've not head much of the fella, but he's meant to have a superb cross and plays on the left. I'm a bit baffled on why we're after a LEFT midfielder, when we already have two perfectly good left-siders, but I was told he played in defence. A left back is understandable, as Tom Newey is getting worse and worse every week, but a left midfielder isn't exactly what we need. Well, hopefully he IS what we need and he'll do well for us, if given a contract.
