Default Barton Faces 15-Game Ban

Quote:
JOEY BARTON will be hit with a 15-game ban and huge fine after last night admitting an FA charge of violent conduct.

Soho Square chiefs will throw the book at the disgraced Newcastle midfielder, 25, at a private hearing in the next fortnight after he pleaded guilty to attacking former Manchester City team-mate Ousmane Dabo.

Barton, who has just served a six-month jail sentence for a different assault, will plead for leniency but is facing a ban and £100,000 fine.

He was given a four-month jail sentence in July, suspended for two years, after pleading guilty to assaulting Dabo.

At the time, Barton was already in prison after receiving a six-month sentence for a separate assault in Liverpool in December 2007.
I hope he never plays football again because he is a disgrace to anyone and everyone.

I agree, he should never be allowed to play football again. Although I like Newcastle I think they have made a huge mistake yet again by giving him ANOTHER chance.

So so wrong!

I agree with you there Greg (apart from liking newcastle) Keegan has annoyed alot of newcastle fans by giving him a second chance again. Barton should be banned from the game altogether, which I'm sure he will be if he ever steps out of line again. I don't think he will be allowed another chance after this one.
