There are just a few great English players at the moment; Gerrard, Rooney, Terry, Ferdinand, Joe Cole probably the only ones.

But Markus' right you dont need to have British players as your top players just as your good players; Wes Brown, Keane (Not British but almost the same thing), Carrick etc.

Diaby is a Vieira like midfielder, it will be him and Fabregas in centre midfield when they're both fit and I think Diaby will have a great season... His pre-season was fantastic, he played exactly like Vieira, but he needs to be played down then middle, not on the left wing.

and why does so many ppl that live in Oz worry bout how many English players play for Arsenal.
