I'll elaborate then... if you have had more recent success it would naturally imply that the team has played quality football that surpasses any other team. If they haven't had success if would imply that better teams have beaten them and thus not having recent success.

We played much better football than everyone below fourth spot and Arsenal quite easily, Chelsea and Man U are a matter of opinion, however only opinion is right Liverpool > rest
