Default Sunderland 0-1 Liverpool

What a fantastic game for the red and white army. We gave the reds a good challenge and deserved to come away with at least a point. Liverpool played poor compared to what they are capable of, and all it took for Liverpool to take the three points was one moment of brilliant play and a small lack of concentration from sunderland defenders Collins and Nosworthy to give Torres a break in the second half.

Keane did not impress me much (Robbie that is) and in the first half Sunderland were the better team (and for a canny bit of the second half too), however, once Liverpool broke the deadlock, they began to play and play well.

All in all I am pleased with Sunderlands performance and I am confident that if we continue to play to that standard, Sunderland will have a great season. I also believe that once Keane/Torres striker partnership is working properly, Liverpool will be lethal.

Just a brief account of the sunderland liverpool game for you all. If any of you guys saw the game, what did you think? Do you agree?

Liverpool fans opinions wanted too

We were Fu**** pathetic in the first half, and barely managed to get out of that game with our Title Hopes still intact. Keane was really bad and I really hope he starts to improve.

I was dissapointed with Benitez' choice to play Plessis over Alonso, he can lie all he wants about Alonso having a dead leg but I'm not having any of it.

Also dissapointed with his decision to bring on El Zhar for Keane, when I think NGog would have been a better choice.

Great goal by Torres, and it was such a relief. We probably narrowly deserved the win and well thats what we got.

Oh and Diouf is F****** piece of ****. He is the most pathetic player ever, doesnt deserve to play football at all.

I would NOT talk about us being dirty!! there were a few occasional dives by Liverpool.

As for the way we played, what was wrong with it? We were playing well, winning the ball alot more often, and winning alot of tackles FAIRLY!!

Most of them happened directly in front of me and most of them were fair

Yeah he reacted a little bit to the referee's but other than that he was great on the ball, and was the only one who looked like he could actually score.

If Diouf calmed down his attitude a little bit then I would say he was one of my favourites, but he needs to calm down.
