confirms it`s been his dream....maybe there was some truth to the rumour? all good mate, i get a lot of my football info from a lifetime united fan who plays level below a- league on gold coast and hes invoved in queensland football at junior level. the guys in his 50`s and still plays against quality youngsters...never has he told me football related stories/rumours that haven`t been spot on. he has a heap of contacts in uk football and has been telln me since last season that berba would play for united by next season which is now. i respect his opinion and knowledge,and still stand by my statement.wasn`t trying to offend you or **** you off. thought you would have known same things or at least acknowledge it`s been heavily rumoured since last season and it seems now with good reason. the fact it`s his dream means it`s something he has thought about for some time. congrats you manc bastards

Yeah, but your post yesterday made it sound like even from last year that this was going to happen no matter what, and christ almighty, its been another pain in the ass transfer saga for us "manc bastards". Thats all i was debating in this, not the fact he wants to play for us (because lets be honest, who doesn't ) but the fact that this was going to happen.

Remember when Martin Jol came out last year i think it was, and publicly said that Berbatov used to speak of wanting to play for us.
