Default Anton Ferdinand at sunderland??

Rumours have been going round about Sunderland putting in a bid for Anton Ferdinand. Has anyone else heard about this?

Apparently we have had a bid accepted, but the source is not really reliable and I can't find anything on SSN.

Anyone shed any light onto this??

Yes its true, I read it yesterday in the paper that he wants a move. Im very surprised at that because he is a hammer through and through but I do know he is good friends with Kieran Richardson so maybe that has something to do with it.

It also said that West Ham couldn't match his demands as he is currently on £20k a week but Sunderland could double it if required plus more to £40k+

Awesome. We could do with him, but we still need a striker

Rumour has it that its around £8m for him He's better than Nos or Collins but i reckon £8m is a bit over the top.

He might prove to be worth it when he comes here. It is a little pricey like

I remember hearing that Spurs wanted him too. Would good be a good signing for Sunderland though 8 million is probably overpriced, only strikers have hit that much of an inflation rate.

I think he has the potential to become a world class player like his brother. I'm pretty sure Roy Keane can bring out the best in him
